A Tool for Niche Bloggers

If you’re a fan of Google Trends, a service that shows what’s hot in a country which allows comparison to other countries, then you’d be glad Google added the Hot Trends feature.

Hot Trends enables users to see a list of the current top 100 fastest-rising Google search queries in the U.S. Users can also select specific dates to see what the top-rising searches were at a given point in time.

I find this very useful to those who have or are just planning to setup niche blogs. The more searched the information you deliver, the more chances of getting traffic, right? NOT! If you’re just starting on your blog that is. But with the right content, competition assessment, and blog promotion tactics, sure.

As of this writing, the Hot Trends results include the following:

1. american idol winner

2. who won american idol

3. american idol finale
