Google held its annual meeting with its shareholders yesterday May 10, 2007 in Mountainview, California. You can view the webcast here.
The highlight of the annual stockholders meeting is the announcement from Eric Schmidt, Google’s Chairman, that it won’t split its stocks, which got attention because of the high price of Google stock - $461.47 finished at Thursday.
Although Google shares didn’t do well this year, its performance over the long haul was quite commendable since the shares have increased more than five times since its initial public offering in 2004.
